Description

Panerai unveils a tribute to over a century of horological craftsmanship with the limited-edition Radiomir Officine PAM01385. This exceptional timepiece is a commemoration of the Radiomir prototype’s inception, reflecting a storied legacy initiated by Guido Panerai in 1916, marked by the Radiomir patent – a radium-based illuminating substance. This limited edition is deeply rooted in the original design and military heritage, embracing Panerai’s historical partnership with the Royal Italian Navy. The watch meticulously merges iconic elements from the 1935 Radiomir prototype with contemporary innovations, housed within a polished steel 45mm monoblock case. Its brown matte dial, adorned solely with indexes and numerals at twelve and six o’clock, features beige Super-Luminova® markings that luminesce in a striking green, enhancing visibility in low light.

Reflecting a harmonious marriage of tradition and innovation, the Radiomir Officine PAM01385 is equipped with a hand-wound P.6000 calibre, boasting a commendable three-day power reserve, and offers water resistance up to a depth of approximately 100 meters (10 bar). A distinct brown leather strap complements the timepiece, with the flexibility for interchangeability, offering an array of stylistic options from Panerai’s diverse strap collection.

Exclusively limited to 300 pieces, the Radiomir Officine PAM01385 will be a remarkable addition to the collection of discerning watch enthusiasts, launching on 24 October 2023. This new iteration, while embracing modernity and sustainability with materials like eSteelTM, continues to honor and perpetuate the legacy and innovation of Panerai, reflecting a journey that transcends time, from the historic boutique in Piazza San Giovanni to the state-of-the-art Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
